An expert say Israel Folau's teamed up with a top-class team to battle Rugby Australia.
The 30-year-old was sacked last month after a controversial post on social media mirroring his religious views.
Today, his lawyers announced they are taking his case to the Fair Work Commission.
Employment law expert Giuseppe Carabetta told Heather du Plessis-Allan that Folau is clearly prepared for a fight.
"I don't know the full extent of his team at this stage, but his senior counsel and his solicitor are gurus, absolute guns in the area."
One of those lawyers is believed to be Stuart Wood, a QC with experience in free speech and high profile cases.Â
Carabetta expects that Folau's lawyers will focus on Rugby Australia overreaching, while Rugby Australia will say it is a breach of conduct.Â
