Fiji covid patient could be transferred to New Zealand

The covid outbreak in Fiji is going from bad to worse. The country has reported 7 more deaths and a record number of daily covid cases with 1285.

New Zealand is in discussions with Fiji about bringing a covid patient to New Zealand to receive hospital care here.

Fiji correspondent Lice Movono spoke to Heather du Plessis-Allan about what the situation is like in Fiji.
