A known terror suspect was able to injure six people in a west Auckland supermarket.

Police who were surveilling him shot him dead at the scene.

Terror expert Dr John Battersby told Heather du Plessis-Allan that national security services did everything they could within the lawful powers.

Battersby also said the attacker must have been high up on their list on concerns given how quickly they were able to thwart the attack.
