ACT leader David Seymour has responded strongly to ZB Drive host Heather du Plessis-Allan's scathing editorial over the party’s re-launch and new policy announcements.

Seymour says the party's re-launch has reinvigorated many people, and with issues such as free speech and opposition to government regulations a major focus, this is only the beginning for a big comeback for the party.

“If you asked any political journalist five years ago that we are having a genuine sell out, standing room only conference, with the kind of energy and vibrance we had in the room, they wouldn’t have thought that would be possible.”
