It's definitely glass half full for New Zealand travel technology company Serko.

With international travel and business travel mostly non-existent this past year, Serko's full year results have taken a big hit.

Profits were down 211% with revenue down 37%.

But shares are still up 133% for the year, and the company says it's still on track for its medium-term goal of $100 million annual revenue as passenger numbers are recovering.

Serko CEO Darrin Grafton told Heather du Plessis-Allan Covid has meant businesses are making changes.

“We're seeing business travel where employees are working remotely. People are lying them in to remote locations like Queenstown or Wellington to do their team-building and to do these collective meetings together and that didn't occur before."
