School leavers who haven't achieved university entrance this year may still be admitted to Victoria University.
The University is offering those who missed out due to Covid-19 the chance to apply for Provisional Admissions, under certain criteria.
If admitted they'll be get wraparound support to raise their capability to University standards.
Universities Chief Executive Chris Whelan told Heather du Plessis-Allan that, if admitted, they'll get extra support to get up to scratch.
"We don't want to accept students who are not ready for university and who are not going to succeed at university. So what we're talking about here is those who are close to the standard."
