The Auckland border has a freedom date but, there's still no saying when the region will leave lockdown.
From December 15, people will be able to leave or enter the region, if they're fully-vaccinated or have a negative Covid test within 72 hours before travel.
The rest of the country will join Auckland in moving to the traffic-light system soon after November 29, subject to Cabinet.
But the Government is still refusing to let Auckland know when it'll move.
Covid Response Minister Chris Hipkins told Heather du Plessis-Allan Cabinet hasn't made a firm commitment yet.
“I acknowledge that people want certainty. We don’t have certainty at this point around all of the relevant information to we use when we make these kinds of decisions.”
