Wellingtonians were shocked to find out that there has been no fluoride added to the city's water supply for weeks. 

Last night, Wellington Water sent an email to the mayor and councillors informing them that fluoridation had been stopped because of health and safety issues. 

But councillors are furious they've been left in the dark for more than a month.
