Air New Zealand is asking for the public's help in naming its new aircraft.
The Airbus A320neo is the first new aircraft to join our national air carriers fleet since the start of the pandemic.
Air New Zealand's Chief Pilot says they stopped the practice of asking the public to name planes years ago.
But Captain David Morgan told Heather du Plessis-Allan they're hoping to reignite the spark of interest.
“We’re really looking forward to the suggestions we’ll get from our customers.”
He says customers will soon be travelling across the Tasman and further afield and Air New Zealand wants to be ready, and the new aircraft is a big part of that.
