Auckland supermarket retailer Farro is getting on board the automatic trolley bandwagon.
It comes after Foodstuffs announced they are rolling out a trolley that works like a self-checkout on wheels.
The trolleys have a built-in barcode scanner and tablet, so it's all there when you head to the checkout to pay.
Farro will be going one step further with new technology that'll mean you won't even have to queue at the checkout on the way out.
Farro CEO Bryce Howard joined Heather du Plessis-Allan to talk about how it will work.
