MIQ workers who haven't been vaccinated by today won't be allowed to work at the border.
This is a requirement under the government's Covid-19 Public Health Response Order.
Joint Head of Managed Isolation and Quarantine, Brigadier Jim Bliss, told Andrew Dickens as of yesterday 97 percent of MIQ workers have been vaccinated.
He says they always expected there would be a small number who wouldn’t get the jab.
"A proportion will have a good not to be vaccinated, some have chosen not to be vaccinated. Some will be on extended leave and some will be leaving that place of work."
