Global market volatility is tipped to continue with uncertainty around inflation, interest rates and the looming threat of a Russian invasion in Ukraine.  

At one point overnight the Dow Jones was down more than a thousand points. And the s&p 500 fell into correction territory.  

However, all the major indexes finished on a positive note, but are down since the start of the year.  

The NZX 50 dropped this morning but largely recovered by closing.
