More than 1000 people have registered their interest for the Kiwibuild programme, just over eight hours after the eligibility criteria was revealed.

To be allowed in the ballot for a Kiwibuild house, applicants must have earnt less than $120,000 for the year, or $180,000 if applying as a couple.
