Normality is slowly returning to Parliament.

After weeks of hostility on the Parliament lawns, ultimately culminating on Wednesday's violence, the cleanup operation has begun.

But protestors have dispersed, with Wainuiōmata Marae a location of interest.

National leader Christopher Luxon will give a much-anticipated State of the Nation on Sunday.

One of the big-ticket items on his to-do list is the cost of living.

The Government also hasn’t been keeping track of which landlords comply with rental warrants of fitness.

As it stands, landlords have free reign to do things by the book if they want to.
