Seniors are being told to be patient during the Covid-19 vaccine rollout.

People over 65 are now eligible.

A woman has told Newstalk ZB yesterday she booked a jab at a vaccination centre in East Tamaki, but was turned away because of long queues.

Age Concern chief executive Stephanie Clare says situations like this will happen.

“Just turn around, don’t queue, just go home and try again. You’ll hopefully get through and have another time allocated to you.”
