A Massey University politics expert has labelled Jami-Lee Ross and Simon Bridges saga as tasteless.Â
Yesterday Jami-Lee Ross released his secretly recorded conversations, which appear to reveal that political candidature is for sale in New Zealand.
Ross also said two Chinese would be more valuable than two Indians - to which Simon Bridges replies, "yeah, which is what we've got at the moment".
Politics expert Richard Shaw told Kate Hawkesby there will be a lot of people sensitive to the conversation.
"That to me is one of the most tasteless elements of the entire debacle, I think, for the National Party or certainly for Simon Bridges. How do you make that judgement, two Chinese are worth more than two Indians, it doesn't reflect particularly well."
