A new survey shows half of all Kiwis in the workplace feel their digital skills need to be improved to ensure employment.
NZTech chief executive Graeme Muller said many companies were not upskilling workers fast enough.
"It's not just a New Zealand phenomena, it's a worldwide phenomena, so there's a bit of work going on with the government and with organisations like ourselves to help.
"We do need to make sure people are being constantly upskilled."
The survey was conducted by HR specialist Randstad.
