Taco Bell opens up on New Zealand's shores today, but some are not happy about it.
The American fast-food chain opened at 10am in Auckland this morning.
Food business consultant Mark Collins told Kate Hawkesby it will ramp up competition between retailers, some who are already struggling.
He says Taco Bell's proposing 25 New Zealand stores in five years, which breaks down to a new one every 10 weeks.
The restaurant will include iconic features like Taco Bell's 16inch bell, a self-serve music kiosk and an open kitchen.
