A Palmerston North company has created new tech that dispenses Covid-19 killing sanitisers.
It kills the virus on surfaces and in the air by using a dry fogging machine.
And it's a lot cheaper than the larger machines built overseas that give similar results.
Mark Bell-Booth, CEO of Saflex Pumps, told Kate Hawkesby that dry fogging is particles of sanitiser and water smaller than 10 microns.Â
"They have the same ability as Covid to hang in the air."
He says that rather than spray a liquid, where the droplets go straight to the ground, particles this small are able to stay in the air and spread on the air currents.
"With our fogger, everything is every around three to five microns."
