An Auckland school has made the decision to "out" bad drivers around their school.

Shelly Park school in Howick, has started posting photos of bad driving and poor parking in the school newsletter, sent in by frustrated parents.

However, pitting parent against parent might not be the answer the school needs.

NZEI president Lynda Stuart, told Kate Hawkesby we need to get our priorities right around our children.

"I think it can be problematic, I think there are other programs and ways the police can actually help with dealing with some of these issues."
