A famous New Zealand cricket victory has become implicated in the match-fixing allegations made by a leading media organisation.
New Zealand Cricket has reacted immediately, calling the claims "unsubstantiated" but saying it takes the matter seriously.
Al Jazeera published a second series of allegations, following those made in May, and the 15 matches it says are under suspicion include New Zealand's 2011 victory over Australia in Hobart. The matches include six tests, six one day internationals and three T20 World Cup games.
Radio Sport Breakfast host Kent Johns told Tim Dower the allegations come from an illegal betting company in India.Â
"He has been caught out in a sting operation by Al Jazeera and so reportedly this guy knows a hell of a lot about a heck of a lot of different games that apparently he was involved in setting up spot-fixing for."
Johns said only one of the matches named involved New Zealand.
"every single game bar a couple involve either England or Australian so I would join the dots and say if there was anything untoward from that particular match more than likely that it involved Australian players rather than New Zealand players."
