Nine out of 10 of us say we'll be taking a New Zealand holiday this year.
And according to a MYOB survey, a quarter have named Queenstown as the place they'll spend most time.
MYOB's Ingrid Cronin-Knight told Tim Dower that Auckland, Wellington and Bay of Plenty came in high in the survey as well.
"Many people just want to get away with their partner, 30 per cent of people were driven by that."
Reconnecting with family after lockdown was another reason for going on holiday.
She says that many New Zealanders just want to support the local economy as well - and providers are adjusting.
"The tourism scene is absolutely responding to where they are going to get their money."
