A group of car enthusiasts says the term 'boy racers' is giving them a bad name.
Members of a Wellington car club spoke to the Herald after an incident in Upper Hutt, where a man in a road roller damaged several cars.

They say labelling people as boy racers paints ordinary car enthusiasts in a bad light.
Newstalk ZB reporter Emme McKay told Kate Hawkesby they want a space of their own.
"A younger member of the club says if there was somewhere cheap for them to go, there would be nothing to give them a bad name.
"They all agree on one thing, they need somewhere to safely meet together where they can work wityh the community and authorities."
The man was in Upper Hutt when a road-roller drove into several cars and injured a number of people during the rampage over the weekend.
