Western Australia's lockdown cost residents $100 million

Perth is counting the cost of its latest three-day Covid-19 lockdown.

Australian correspondent Donna Demaio told Tim Dower while the city is moving out of lockdown this morning, the wait for answers continues.

"People in Perth are very relieved to know that from today they can now leave their homes again and return to work and school, but this snap lockdown cost them about 100 million dollars."

New Zealand's current ban on Western Australian flights remains in effect.

Our Government will make a decision on that ban today ahead of a scheduled flight from Perth tomorrow night.
