Melbourne's Yarra Council has picked a fight with the Australian government over its decision to no longer refer to January 26 as Australia Day.
The Council says the decision was made in consultation with the Aboriginal community, which often refers to January 26 as Invasion Day.
Australia correspondent Donna Demaio told Rachel Smalley the move has angered the government, which has stripped the council of its power to hold citizenship ceremonies.
