A new app's been launched to remind people to take their medicine.
New research suggests about a third of Kiwis with a prescription have not had them filled and more than half are forgetting to take their medication.
Zoom Health managing director David Taylor told Kate Hawkesby he's launched a new service to try to get people to take their meds.
He says GPs fax prescriptions to Zoom, the medicine is dispensed, and a courier is used to deliver it directly.
"We have an app that sits alongside of that service that gives you reminders every day to take your medicine - gives you medicine information as well so you can check why you're taking it
Taylor says the app also coordinates repeats and has a video showing people how to use an inhaler.
