Uncertainty around global fuel prices is forcing one of our largest petrol chains to think outside the box.
Z Energy has announced plans to broaden the range of services it provides at its service stations around the country.
It's trialling everything from car-sharing to parcel collections.
First Retail Group managing director Chris Wilkinson told Kate Hawkesby it is a sign of just how risky the future of fuel sales is becoming.
"It's very necessary, if there's one sector that is very much under threat it's anything to do with carbon fuels."
He says it makes sense for Z to make the most of its large retail network.
"It's about that engagement and connection in cities where people no longer have vehicles they're walking between places and this will be quite useful'.
