Russia is vowing a swift response to the UK's expulsion of 23 diplomats.
The spies have been expelled after Russia refused to cooperate with the investigation into the Salisbury nerve agent attack.
The US, Germany and France have joined the UK in demanding an explanation.
British prime minister Theresa May is trying to compel Russia to cooperate with the threat of further expulsions and sanctions.
UK correspondent Ben Bland told Kate Hawkesby one of her ministers, Gavin Williamson, is being far less diplomatic.
"Some rather undiplomatic language from the UK's Defence Secretary, who simply said 'Russia should go away and shut up'."
Russia maintains it had nothing to do the attack.
"Russia have so far, said that the UK's response is boorish and this is all just because it is having problems with Brexit," Bland said.
