The Small Business Loan Cashflow Scheme is being extended until the end of the year.
The Government has received 90,000 applications so far, and paid out over $1.5 billion in loans.
EMA's head of advocacy Alan McDonald told Tim Dower with the wage subsidy coming to an end soon, employers will be able to take advantage of both schemes.
"They'll be starting to look at that runout, not getting any sign of any revenue any soon, wage subsidy coming off, low uptake in demand, orders falling off, and they might be starting to make some hard decisions."
