Theresa May's popularity has sharply dropped following last month's general election.
An opinion poll's shown 60 per cent of voters view the country's Prime Minister more negatively after the snap election... accompanying a rise in respect for opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn.
UK correspondent Gavin Grey told Andrew Dickens the PM's self-inflicted election has left her party in a weaker position.
"She needs to be sure that what she proposes will get through, and therefore lots of compromising of what's going on."
It's also said that Britain could purposefully drag out Brexit talks as May told business leaders she'll walk out of negotiations, if the EU tries to send them a billion dollar divorce bill.
Grey told Andrew Dickens it's a big change for the PM who previously assured voters that 'Brexit means Brexit'.
He said May will want to send a strong message to EU leaders that Britain won't roll over and take a bad deal.
