British prime minister Theresa May will remain in control of her country's exit from the European Union.
MPs have voted down an amendment to give Parliament the final say on whether to approve or reject any final Brexit deal.
May claimed it would have undermined her negotiating a position with the EU.
UK correspondent Gavin Grey told Kate Hawkesby May will now remain in control of the process, even if negotiations break down.
"Was actually all about whether MPs should be given a decissive say on what happens about Brexit if no deal is agreed."
