A political commentator is predicting National MP Jami-Lee Ross won't go down without a fight if he's booted from caucus.
The Botany MP has been accused of leaking Simon Bridges' expenses to the media, but Ross denies this suggesting he's been framed by the National Party leader.
Ross will likely be suspended from caucus today and Bryce Edwards told Kate Hawkesby that could spark more fireworks.
"He's showing that he really wants to kind of burn down the village as he departs."
Edwards said a byelection is likely after all the hostility.Â
"Something has to give because this is going to be very difficult having Jami-Lee Ross in parliament outside of the caucus."Â
"Those tweets yesterday really were showing that he wants to fight this, he's not going to be compliant."Â
Jami-Lee Ross is expecting at caucus today.
