During our weekly catch up with Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel, John MacDonald raised a question from a caller about chlorine in our water.

The Mayor explained about the new Water Services Act and safe drinking water rules brought in by the Government, and the process for the Council to gain an exemption from having to use chlorine.

John also discussed the recent Three Waters announcement, and asked if the Mayor is considering leaving Local Government New Zealand, and the recent Covid cases in Canterbury.
