The Chinese president flies into the country tonight for a series of top-level talks - focused on trade and international relations.

Xi Jinping's been attending the G20 across the Tasman and will spend two days in New Zealand.

He'll meet with the Governor General and Prime Minister John Key, along with Auckland Mayor Len Brown.

Mr Xi will also attend a series of business events before flying out on Friday.
