Two female porn-stars have made accusations against prominent male porn-star James Deen, in the wake of tweets that alleged sexual assault.
Deen was accused by adult performer Stoya of ignoring her safe words during sex, while they were in an off - camera relationship.
He denies the claim, saying they were false, defamatory and that he respected “limits both profesionally and privately.”
I want to assure my friends, fans and colleagues that these allegations are both false and defamatory

Now fellow actress Tori Lux has written in The Daily Beast that Deen assaulted her during a shoot, that she was afraid, and was forced into acts to which she had denied consent.
He is alleged to have “raised his hand high above his head, swinging it down and hitting me in the face and head with an open palm.”
The accusations will likely hurt Deen's reputation, who is considered to be a feminist within the industry. Deen has won numerous awards as a performer, as have Stoya and Tori Lux.
That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks.

The accusations have sparked a social media campaign, with the hashtag #StandwithStoya used to denote solidarity with the female performers.
However, there has been a corresponding backlash, with some claiming the accusations are malicious or invented.
