Reports are coming in that a New Zealand woman who claimed to be gang-raped by a group of men in Sydney, after a Tinder hook-up, has retracted her statement.
The 28-year-old businesswoman had said she'd met up with a man the mobile dating app had matched her with at a restaurant in Kings Cross on Saturday night.
She said they'd moved to an inner-city bar, where they were joined by the man's friends.
The woman said she was later sexually assaulted by at least three men at a property in the city's south.
The claims let to warnings about the safety of meeting people through dating apps and widespread concern.
