The once controversial Camilla Parker Bowles looks increasingly likely to one day be Queen.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are set to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
UK correspondent Malcolm Stuart told Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking over the last decade Camilla has become more and more accepted by the British public.
"And an opinion poll published today found that nearly half of those questioned would be happy for her to be officially Queen when Charles eventually comes to the throne."
Malcolm Stuart says the current proposal is that the Duchess would take the title of Princess Consort.
Prince Charles was the first member of the royal family to marry in a civil ceremony, after a relationship with Camilla that spanned nearly 35 years.
