Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has banned passengers from bringing alcohol on board a notorious 'party flight' between Glasgow, Scotland and Ibiza.
The Daily Record reports an email sent out informs passengers,
“Any alcohol purchased in airport shops or elsewhere must be packed in a suitable item of baggage, which will be tagged and placed in the aircraft hold free of charge. Customers attempting to conceal alcohol will be denied travel without refund or compensation.”
Ryanair has refused to comment on why the decision was made, but the move follows concerns for party safety and comfort.
A video on board the flight made headlines last year showing drunk passengers chanting and swearing while fellow passengers seemed anxious and agitated.
