An Australian teenager in Syria's denying he's engaged in political violence.
Oliver Bridgeman's spoken out on a Muslim Internet channel for the first time since a warrant was issued for his arrest by the Australian Federal Police.
The 19-year-old Queensland man claims he's been in the country doing humanitarian work - and said the police accusations are ridiculous.
"When I was preparing to return home I was prepared to negotiate and talk with the Australian Government one hundred per cent. I wanted to cooperate fully. I knew when I returned home I would be questioned, I was warned about this."
The Toowoomba teen, a convert to Islam, turned up in Syria without telling his family he was going overseas.
