Wellington Airport's large eagle installation is back.
The banking eagle, which came loose during the 6.2 magnitude quake in January, was reinstalled last night not far from the main eagle ridden by Gandalf.
Wellington Airport and Weta Workshop have been working together following the earthquake - with both commissioning independent engineering reports to ensure the causes of the issues were understood and resolved.
Those reports were sent to Worksafe - with an investigation determining no action was required.
