A professional basketball player has revealed his horror after 10 of his Instagram photos were stolen and shared on foot fetish accounts.
Alex Pledger, a 2.15m-tall centre who plays for Melbourne United, shared a video of himself receiving treatment to his right foot on social media.
The same video was then shared to the 'Admirer Worldwide' Instagram account, which regularly posts pictures of men's feet.
"I've got to stop posting my feet on the gram ... this about the 10th time I've been featured in some weird foot fetish s**t," Pledger said.
He suggested he needed to start charging for the pictures of his feet.
The 'Admirer Worldwide' account often shares photos of athletes' feet, with NFL player Odell Beckham Jr and Colombian soccer star James Rodriguez also featured.
The video of Pledger's foot was accompanied by the hashtags '#sexyfeet', '#malefootfetish' and '#hotfeet'.
Pledger is a four-time NBL champion, having spent 10 seasons with the New Zealand Breakers.
He moved to Australia to play for Melbourne United in 2018.
