Members of the Post Primary Teachers' Association are putting up flyers and posters in Epsom in Auckland today as they launch a campaign against the ACT Party's education policy.
The policy would allow state schools the option of becoming a charter school or partnership school.
PPTA president Angela Roberts says they are trying to present evidence to voters about the real implications of charter schools.
She says charter schools are toxic.
She says we've got an education system that doesn't need competition, and doesn't need to be privatised.
