Fifteen parliament staffers have been paid out more than $180,000 since 2011 to settle employment disputes with MPs.

Parliamentary Service has released a year-by-year breakdown of payments which are normally kept secret.

The biggest amount was more than $69,500 in 2013.

Hiding the payouts was criticised in Debbie Francis' review into bullying and harassment at the Beehive, saying it aided a culture of secrecy.
