Green Party co-leader Marama Davidson is making no apologies for trying to reclaim the 'c-word'.

Davidson repeatedly used the word at a recent anti-racism rally.

She says the word is used like a weapon and a form of abuse - and people have used it in death threats made to her.

Davidson says women need to disarm and reclaim the term.

"Part of my responsibility as a leader was using my platform to resist misogyny and men using these words against us."
