The two major political leaders have clashed in parliament today over Jacinda Ardern's handling of the Clare Curran saga.Â
The Prime Minister was on the defence from Simon Bridges' repeated attacks, as the National Leader nitpicked her statements.
Bridges accused Ardern of changing her story between Friday and today, saying she told media that Curran had resigned as a Minister on Thursday night when she did not formally resign until Friday.Â
Ardern rejected the criticism and said it was the right process in order to allow Curran to inform her staff and family.Â
She refused to say if she would have fired Curran had she decided not to resign on Friday morning.Â
