Five Eyes nations look set to take more assertive actions against radical and extremist threats.

The matter's been canvassed by Five Eyes nation ministers at a meeting in London.

Targeting the use of internet and social media by terrorists looks to be on the Five Eye agenda, with member ministers agreeing a sustained and aggressive approach is needed.

More information sharing looks likely too, with ministers discussing it in terms of travellers who could pose a threat to national security or interests.

Also canvassed was more collaboration on countering violent extremism.
