The search for a missing tramper has ended in tragedy after a body was located over the weekend.
A 27-year-old woman’s body was found after she was reported overdue in the Fox River area on the West Coast on Saturday, November 1, Police said.
The woman was reported to have set out on Thursday.

Her vehicle was located at the Fox River car park.
Senior Sergeant Mark Kirkwood of West Coast Police said Police Search and Rescue searched the area, along with a helicopter, a Land Search and Rescue dog team and local Surf Life Saving.
She was sighted nearby by a Police Search and Rescue member, he said.
“Work is ongoing to formally identify her, and her death will be referred to the Coroner.”
