Police are continuing their investigations into a death at a Kapiti Coast Beach.

The man was found in a car early yesterday. It had come of the road and was stuck in a sand dune, with its engine still running.

Police are treating the death of the 41 year-old as unexplained.

They'd like to hear from anyone who was around the beach area of Peka Peka Rd between midnight Friday and 5am yesterday.
