Police have named the man killed in a motorcycle crash in a South Canterbury town last week.

He was Adrian John Lester, 35, of Temuka.

Police were called to the single-vehicle crash on Factory Rd near Temuka around 7.50pm on April 22.

“Police extend our deepest condolences to Adrian’s family, loved ones, and friends in this time of loss.”

The Serious Crash Unit was notified, and the road remained closed as emergency services worked at the scene.

The circumstances of the crash continue to be investigated.

Lester’s death has been referred to the coroner.
