It's a big ka pai from the Māori Language Commission as we wrap up Te Wiki O Te Reo Māori.
It says New Zealanders from all cultures have embraced the initiative, and it's been astonishing.
The Commission says we can keep up the good work in the year ahead by making Te Reo welcome at work and in the community.
It says this can be done by encouraging others to learn and use Maori and pronouncing Maori words correctly.
The Commission says the language is a treasure and it's congratulating everyone who uses it.
